Our friends and partner, Watch-Africa; Wales African Film Festival are proud to welcome you to the 5th edition of the festival. The festival is back with a packed – diverse range of inspiring, innovative, educational, thought-provoking and challenging stories from the African continent.

The festival will  kickstart at Taliesin Arts Centre on the 23rd October finishing  at Chapter on the 12th November.  Check our programmefor more information about screening as well as venues and dates near your local area.

One of this year’s main themes is ‘Lost African Classics’ which will showcase some of African films that were banned, censored, lost or forgotten.

The main programme will have a main focus on 10 titles covering over 10 countries from across the continent.

Many thanks to our funders, sponsors, partners and friends who helped to bring this diverse programme of films, discussions, Q&As with directors, pop-up cinema screenings, workshops, live performances and food. There will be plenty for people to experience and enjoy as we look forward to welcoming you to #WatchAfrica2017.
